A few weeks ago I was approached at work by a woman who has her own jewelry. She asked me if I would be interested in modeling for her new Winter ‘09 line. I was totally caught off guard and flattered at the same time! After researching all the info, I said yes. I thought it would be a good experience and something different is always fun. Sunday was the shoot and boy was it fun. They made me up in 3 different looks. One of the looks was a ZEBRA!! It was wild and very high fashion. Below is just a taste of the pictures taken and I will post more tomorrow!

“Fashions fade. Style is eternal.”-Yves Saint Laurent
Finding your own personal style is the first step to being a stylish person. The key to being fabulous starts with identifying your style and personality. The good news is that finding your own look brings instant gratification and is really quite fun! Some tips on how to get started would be to spend an afternoon going through different magazines and tearing out pictures that are awe-inspiring looks to you. Next, evaluate your own closet and pick about a dozen pieces of clothing and accessories that you own and love. A fter looking over what you have choosen, you now can ask your self, “am I a casual person? Maybe more of the bohemian look? Or do you just fall in love with anything extra girly, full of ruffles and romantic (like me)? ” Now decide which one you’re the most like and base your wardrobe around that. Sometimes the hardest part is deciding your own personal style and sticking to it! Edit your closet by getting rid of anything that is an OK piece and if its not flattering in any way..it goes too! You should LOVE how you look in everything that you own. Why settle for looking ok when you can strive to look your best?

The little black book of style is a great reffrence for everyone to own. It can be found at Anthropologie and many other local book stores.

It’s so important to not only know how to dress your body, but also how to dress age appropriate. T here is a way to acomplish this while still looking very stylish! Below are some of my favorite pictures from the show to give you an idea. Enjoy!

The models ranged from age 23-81 can you belive that?? WOW! and our darling baby model Autrey is 1.
